(Anglais) The intent of the family 'black sheep' is to heal the family.

You don't have to pretend to be any sheep when you find out you hold the key to success for everyone.

In a Cluedo game or many movies there is always this person that looks like the suspicious guy and actually IS the bad guy. But how come there is always one who's like a drug addict but ends up being the one who saves the day? A bit like the rejected geek in college surrounded by cool kids who becomes your boss. Same for the misfits, not-obviously-great in families who reveal themselves to be the most resourceful.
So, I want to take a minute here to pay tribute to all the weirdos, loser, outsiders, non-conventionals, aliens born in conventional families (or not). I want to aknowledge their attempts, in sometimes victimised, tryranical, protecting ways, to prove that they exist while shaking their family's structure. Because a black sheep, by definition, is there to bring nuance and expansion to a group of white sheeps. Because the black sheep is not a color, it's a role we all play at one point. Because any problem is a chance to grow.
ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE ONE WHO SEEMS TO REJECT THE WORLD
Severus Snape, a harry potter character, you can remember him by his almost "everytime-I-see-anyone-I'm-pissed-off" attitude, hanging out alone, wearing black clothes with black hair, with a deep and very cold voice, giving hard time to the little boy with glasses, by all accounts he looks like a black sheep... Beside him, picture Harry's late father, James, angel figure who appear to have always been the good one. Gone too soon, who died as a hero.
Now (spoiler alerte) around the end, we find out that Severus was strongly bullied by Harry's father in their student years. James also married the one Severus was in love with, mother of Harry. So Severus being cut as he was, splashed all resentments over James's progeny.
Here is an interesting character who appear to be the sneaky guy, but is actually very hurt and wants to do good.
We need the full story to understand the depth of his cold actions. We need YEARS to finally conclude "OOOH THAT BASTARD WAS ACTUALLY A VERY GOOD GUY, I was just short sided"
Despite my very small knowledge in Harry Potter X logy, they popped into my mind as a good exemple of one more commonality that:
We believe what we see, which give us the illusion and false security to know who is who.
So only those who could see behind Severus facade could really breakthrough and prevent a very bad scenario for him. But nobody did because nobody had the vision of his intent. Which was to be healed and heal.
In today's world someone sees their sister being angry at them for years and they figure out: "she's just an angry person". They see their son not motivated again and again and conclude by "he's lazy".
Where is the joy in a negative outlook on people ? Where is the thrill in diminishing who they can be ? Where is the power and excitement in turning facts into reality. Let's turn facts into possibility. Let's ask ourself: what's behind what I see, hear and feel ? What is the story of the person ? Cause if you could really put yourself in their shoes, you could not judge for a second. It's almost ridiculous how you could not. People turn out to be what you made them out of with your thoughts and actions.
ALWAYS SEEK FOR THE ONE WHO FEEL / IS REJECTED.
To take the same book (I'm really not THAT into it, I swear), Harry Poter is probably a very well known black sheep himself, rejected mostly in his former life. That's how we instantly like him. How can you not dislike his adoptive family.
A lot of movies makes the job to separate the good and the bad. And most people think it's the same in real life. It's not. We are deep, complexe, spiritual animals searching for love sometimes in weird ways.
Even though in movies we kind of like the guys alone and rejected one, in real life that plays out differently too. People connect through gossiping and negativity: "Did you see John didn't prepare for his presentation!" , "My manager is a douchebag" , "Justine eats all the cookies all the time, so rude". It's as if the world is asking us to be negative so we can fit in.
Harry is that cliché personnage who find himself around people who resent him for who he is or who he is not. But he can't be someone else, except himself. Again we love him for that too. He is who he is, never quite desire to escape this role.
A great story very often start with a misfit who turns their hurt and anger into fuel to get help and shine. You can be the black sheep but not a hero if you don't own yourself.
CHANCES ARE YOU'VE BEEN ON BOTH SIDE AND IT'S TIME TO REMEMBER.
It's time to remember and forgive all the way. We've been both brutally rejected by maybe loved ones and we've rejected other people too. People don't reject to reject. They reject because they seek healing for themselves. They've been devided by a trauma response. When you felt hit by a train for years, you tend to feel hurt. And there the saying goes: "HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE". It's time to remember and forgive.
If your body, mind, spirit was a house, and that house had been traumatized, you could say some rooms in your house are closed. The act of remembering is to search for this rooms and find the key. The act of forgiving is to switch on the light, and let yourself experience whatever comes up.
Because that's your house. Nobody else can find the keys to your rooms for you. You can be guided, but only you can open.
Aknowledging we've been black sheeps, helps us to see black sheeps under a new light. If your mother had been drunk before, she'll come as a more understanding person when you are. haha.
No seriously, we are all drunk, in some little ways.
Spot the most drunk of the group and listen carefully.
Hurt reveals secrets.
